The NASCAR Hall of Fame located in Charlotte, North Carolina, is a place for entertainment and education about the history and heritage of NASCAR. It's a high-tech venue that is designed to entertain race fans and non-fans alike. The Hall of Honor, Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant, NASCAR Gear Shop, and broadcast studio are all operated by NASCAR Productions. The attraction also includes artifacts and hands-on exhibits. The NASCAR Hall of Fame opened on May 11, 2010, and it's attached to a parking garage on Brevard Street.

NASCAR has made it a priority to build a Hall of Fame, and in 2006, Charlotte was chosen as the location. Construction on the $160 million facility began on January 26, 2007, and it was officially finished on May 11, 2010. The inaugural class was inducted into the Hall of Fame the day after the 2010 NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race. In addition to the Hall of Fame, NASCAR Plaza (a 20-story office building) opened in May 2009.

The NASCAR Hall of Fame celebrates the drivers who have exhibited great skill in NASCAR races, and all-time great crew chiefs and owners. The museum also features broadcasters and other significant contributors to the sport. It’s a high-tech venue that includes artifacts, exhibits, a theater, the Hall of Honor, a restaurant, the NASCAR Hall of Fame Gear Shop, NASCAR Productions-operated broadcast studio and an attached parking garage.

The NASCAR Hall of Fame is a tourist attraction owned by the City of Charlotte. It is operated by the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority. This site, spanning 5 acres, also includes a 19-story office tower and 102,000-square-foot expansion to the Charlotte Convention Center. The highlight of this expansion is a 40,000-square-foot ballroom.

At the NASCAR Hall of Fame, you can enjoy the legends, fun and excitement of NASCAR. There are amazing artifacts, interactive exhibits, simulator rides and special events at the High-Octane Theater. You can also grab a bite to eat at the NASCAR Hall of Fame Café or Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant. And don’t forget to take home a souvenir from the gift shop!
